The loving mom!

See for yourself how Tiger is loving all the kittens. The black and white that is so active is Patchi's kitten.

Patchi got a kitten too!

Patchi's kitten joining Tiger's. How fortunate that he is the only one with no tinge of orange...

blurry picture of Patchi's kitten!

We could not believe our eyes that night when Patchi actually delivered a kitten too. She sneaked under my daughter's bed and actually do her labour there! It was a black and white kitten.
Later on the following day Adly; the family's wikipedia told me that feeding another cat's kitten actually encourages a cat to deliver her own kitten. That what happened to Patchi. SO probably Patchi did not deliver any kittens at all when she sent missing a few weeks ago.
I have to put Patchi's kitten together with Tiger's because somehow Patchi perefers to stay with Tiger's kitten and left her's on his own. It has been good somehow with the two cats sharing the care of 6 kittens between them. They are so amazing.

Surrogate mother cat!

It was apalling to see how Patchi seemed to be so restless trying to get near Tiger and the newly born kittens. My kids were trying hard to seperate Patchi away into the other part of the house so that she cannot get near Tiger and the kittens. However I felt there would be no harm to see what exactly Patchi wanted to do with Tiger and her new borns. I thought probably Patchi was being sad because she had not found her own kittens.( She went missing for 6 days from 28th October 2009 until 6th.October 2009; and I was pretty sure that she went off to deliver her kittens away from me and my kids prying eyes). Thus I let Patchi get near the new family. It was amazing to see how Patchi seemed so happy to share caring for the little kittens. Infact she kept licking Tiger ...I interprate that as understanding of a sisterly love cat woman...hehe.

Tiger has 5 kittens this morning!

When we left very early this morning for our usual Sunday morning swim Tiger was still one big bellied cat. What a wonderful surprise that when we came back from the swim and breakfast outside to see Tiger nursing her 5 tiny cuties. My son had actually put a specially lined box about a week ago; getting it ready for Tiger to deliver her kittens in. And yes...she is such a smart cat that she must have really occupied the box during her short labour. (Well between 7.00am to 9.00am is sure a short time to have delivered 5 kittens - delivered and cleaned) . We missed all the action whatever and however that must have been. Congratulation Tiger...Well done! You are a great mom!

The 3 cats

Snowy is the old cat that we brought from Dubai .Because she hates being brushed so you always see her with one or more fur balls. Poor Snowy is loosing her teeth one by one....

This Patchi ~ we (me and Adly) saved her from the road nearly hit by a Pajero. She was such a tiny noisy hyper kitten with many patches of Orange, white and black that at first I named her Lucky Patches. I called her Patchi later on for short and sweet ~ just like the patchi chocolates.

This is Tiger ~ pronounce as "Tea ..grrr". My son name her so; as she IS a small Tiger. Boboy aka Adyl ~my son picked this poor cat when she was staggering kitten trying to cross the dangerous street at the Gadong wet market. I bathed her easily in the kitchen sink and she went to the vet the following week together with Snowy and Patchi .
